think you shut down your own thread early......gotta be Bill Murray i think.......old school here....so i like Steve Martin ....Chevy Chase < both of these guys made TOO MANY bad ......really not funny movies
murray's resume pretty strong...these plus many more
caddyshack
groundhog day
stripes
ghostbusters
rushmore
KINGPIN < if haven't seen this one ....pretty damn funny....BM in supporting role...with worst "comb over " in film history
for the more sophisticated viewer.....gotta mention Peter Sellers (maybe the most gifted)...... < probably my favorite

It is better to be feared - than to be loved.

Chris Farley was pretty damn funny. Very strong resume as well;
Tommy Boy
Black Sheep
Beverly Hills Ninja
Even Almost Heroes was pretty good
Great scenes in Dirty Work, Billy Madison and Wayne's World.
To top it off he was great on SNL back when SNL was relevant.
I think he is at the top of my list now that I think about it, loved his humor. Just left way too early.
