Johnny Depp has done a LOT of great movies. THIS is one of his best.

just about ANY movie with a Hunter S. Thompson theme is going to be wicked funny. check out Where the Buffalo Roam (1980) with Bill Murray and Peter Boyle.

I like Johnny Depp is many of the movies he's done. But those pirate movies were absolutely awful imo. This film was so well done. Great acting by depp.

Where the buffalo roam eh. I'll have to check that one out. Bill Murray is great.

A lot of movies have tried to depict drug experiences. This one succeeds from the inside out.

I may have to give this one another look.  Didn't do much for me the first time.  Liked the book.

One of my top 10 movies. It was kind of a flop when it came out.

I wouldn't consider this as one of the greatest movies of all time but it was decent, nice job of depicting drug experiences
