Favourite '24' moments

Rather bittersweet that it's being canceled - one of my favourite shows of all time but one that's also becoming a little redundant. The timing is also a little odd (sort of like announcing a coach won't be returning when there are only a few games left remaining in the season), although methinks it might be a ploy to try and boost ratings for the final episodes.

Anyways, I figured this would be a good chance for us 24 fans to reminisce about the good and the bad.

Most memorable moments: Jack racing through the Chinese Embassy (Day 4); Jack cutting through the baddies on the dock (Day 1); Chloe with a machine gun (Day 4); Death of Edgar Stiles (Day 5); Nina exposed (Day 1)

Worst moments: Teri with amnesia (Day 1); Kim and the cougar (Day 2); President Logan (Day 5); Day 6

And for those of you looking to bash, please: this is a time for mourning. Be respectful of the dead.

the 2 episodes when my buddy Jim Klock was on there playing a guard at the arab detention center

Chapelle's Death in the junk yard

Jack shooting mentors wife in the knee

Nina Myers being revealed as a villian

The last episode, can't come soon enough

I am pasting this from the a comment I made on another thread on this topic. It is the gospel.

 

OK....here's the story with 24.

The first 6 or 7 seasons were awesome. I blame the writers for for it's demise. You can only have so many moles in CTU.

But in the end Jack Bauer will go down as one of the most awesome badasses in the history of TV.

And no show before it had so many ("Didn't see that coming" ) moments in TV.

Overall great show. I will miss it and am looking forward to the Theatrical release next year

President Palmer being assassinated in the first few minutes of season 5.

The first 5 seasons were some of the most thrilling tv i have ever seen. After that it all went downhill. I will never forget the episode were Edgar died. Terrible they had to do him in like that

I have so mamy moments.

But Jack kidnapping the President of the United States (Charles Logan), tricking him into thinking his attempt was unsuccessfull, and then having the first lady get a confession out of him on tape was pretty bad-ass.

And then right after all that...he gets taken by the Chinese and shipped off to get torchered for a couple of years.

Pretty damn good hour of TV in my book.

i just watched season 5 again hadn't seen it in awhile

that season is soo awesome. better than all the rest combined

to me, the 2 or 3 episode arc with Michelle Dessler taking control of that hotel lobby with the biological weapon released... it was so REAL(istic).  and just loved how she stepped up.  Season 3, i think.
