I have 2

My favorite action/historical war movie is Black Hawk Down. I love it. The book is fantastic, as is anything by Mark Bowden.

But I love born on the 4th of july. It is such a captivating film. I think it does war the most justice by portraying what happens to people after tehy come home.

I cant even begin to imagine what its like to be a crippled or mentally damaged vet.

There are a ton.

Saving Private Ryan might as well be it, but going back a ways..."The Longest Day" was classic.

Apoclypse Now and Platoon were pretty great.
