Edge of Darkness

What did you guys think of Gibsons movie?

I really enjoyed it for 2/3's parts of the movie. Lots of action but not totally unrealistic and the plot was slowly unfolding.

Where it lost me was in the last third where he sorta go rouge. Felt like the story line went awash and from that point of view it was just about getting even.

All in all i thought the movie was better than i had expected, entertaining but not on the grand scale of what i might had hoped.

3 out 6 stars.

I started to watch it (about 20 minutes), but it was a Cam Copy and the sound was terrible so I turned it off. I didn't even get to see him slap the shit out of anyone.   It was OK up to that point, nothing special.

This R5 version is pretty good, but the sound is not perfect.. but okay.

Haven't seen it, but the trailer seems a lot like "Taken".  Is it?

I would say no. Not like Taken at all.

a pretty good flick, a little slow at times but worth seeing. The best part is the jump scene you know is coming and I assumed everyone else did, but you still see a bunch of people jump and yell out.

Do like the rest of us and watch it in VLC player

I liked the film immensely. There were some choppy spots but all in all, I liked this more than Taken. Gibson is great in it and the ending is quite satisfying.
