Anything Ken Burns is involved with is always amazing....pencil it in.&#xD;&#xA;https://www.pbs.org/thewar/&#xD;&#xA;There are a lot of towns and family names of soldiers involved featured that live in different cities across America  if you search into the making of this documentry you may know or be related to some of them.

My grandfather (rip) was Gen Pattons point man.

He was the first soldier to ride a motorcycle in the war.
My grandfather was sent back to America 2 weeks before Pattons deadly car accident and always said that if he was still there in Europe, Patton would still be alive.

He carried the guilt for years.
