Carl Sagan is resurrected in this series. Remake of the original he made in 1980.  Sunday nights on Fox.

I've only seen parts of Sagan's original, and what I saw was outstanding so i'm giving this a try.

First episode was decent, but very elementary and aimed at a less informed audience. Nonetheless, its produced by Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy fame and hosted by the 21st century version of Sagan, Neil De Grasse Tyson.

And you ought to that the Catholic League is throwing a fit about this series as well.  They don't like people digging up all their wondrous history
