Cloverfield?

Is this a spoof? By that I mean something along the lines of Blair Witch meets Resident Evil. Looks like a bunch of kids running through the streets from whatever the fuck is chasing them. Graphics and fuzzy cameras looks like it could be the same kind of recording as the Blair Witch. You probably will be looking at a gray to black screen the whole time. Some of the footage actually looks like it was taken form other movies. Anybody know anything about this?

here's the link to the movie website: LINKY

The trailer gives more info, but we can't see the creature....

There's a window with a bit of the sinopsis on the website....

I'll go see it if I have the chance

it's only an hour and 24 minutes....not thrilled about that....i will still probably go see it...but i normally dont feel like i got my moneys worth when a movie like this is that short....we will see

The format it was shot on was very annoying.

I understand why it was done that way - to simulate the experience of being in something like that but maybe they should have used the "Blair Witch" format in parts as opposed to the entire movie.

When the monster wasn't on the scene and the main characters were talking amongst themselves about personal shit..........very boring. Particulary in the format it was shot in.

Apart from the over exercised "Blair Witch" camera effect and the storyline involving the characters on a personal level......I thought it was brilliant.

That thing was more horrific than Godzilla.

Disapointed by the ending, but good flick..  First 15 minutes made me dizzy

horrible....absolutly horrible...

do not waste your $10

it was ok....maybe one jump out of your seat moment....

Dont read anymore if you have no seen the movie.

at the very end of the credits is some static noise that when played backwards says "it's still alive" i dont really think this is a spoiler.....but it's interesting to know.....I guess they are setting up the sequel already.
