Charlie Wilson's War

Question

Went to see this movie last night and I highly recommend it to everyone. It's based around a Texas Congressman's struggle to aid Afghanistan in ousting Russia during the 80's.

It definitely opened my eyes on a lot of things. The ironic thing is since the US assisted the Afghans then with money and weapons, they are now using them against us…

a local congressman in the puget sound area was on wilson's committee and recently said the guy was crazier than the movie shows. he said wilson used to show up in these meeting with pics of himself riding horses with stinger missles over khyber pass (spelling).
