californication season finale

Question

first off, this is one of the best shows on tv.  second, the finale was very unsatisfying.  the whole season makes you want agent mulders girl to dump that bitch ass bill for him, but instead she marrys him and then she runs off with hank (mulder).  that was sooo bad.  i loved this show, and i legitamately loved the characters in it, but come on now.  i think the 13 year old daugher should have stood up at the wedding and said that she didnt want her mother to marry bill.  the way they did it was beat....so she marrys the guy and then hours later decides she wants to run off with hank.  that makes them both look like assholes.  just a flat out bad finale to a great season of a great new show.  the big ? is...where do they go from here?

I agree totally. How does she go from loving Bill enough to marry him to abandoning him on their wedding night in a matter of a couple of hours? And the final shot of them all laughing as they drove off with Bill running after them did make them look like assholes. I was wondering the exact same thing ... where can it possiby go from here? It seems like all they have left is the stolen book angle or a possible scenario of Bill going into crazed jilted psycho mode. Yawn. I just don't see how they can recover from that finale.

They had a commercial on right after it ended saying it would be back soon for a second season.

good. the writing is smart (it indulges in its adolescent moments) and i can&#x27;t wait to see how things flesh out.
