Wasn't sure where to put this but with all the comic book movie adaptions being discussed lately I thought it would get a better reception here than General Discussion. Anyway,
Basically it's a comic book story written as a novel. The POV alternates between the world's greatest villian, Doctor Impossible, and a newbie superhero, Fatale, who has just joined up with the world's greatest superteam, The Champions. Doctor Impossible escapes from prison and once again he is determined to take over the world.
Maybe a little predictable at times but the book flows really well and it's got some great humor in it. Doesn't take itself too seriously without becoming too cutesy or kiddy either. It's been quite some time since I was a steady comic book reader but found this to be a very good read. Worth checking out.
