Berlin Station 2nd season on EPIX

the espionage themed series back on EPIX for a 2nd season. 1st one I thought was pretty good and the opening two episodes Sunday October 15th were excellent (EPIX has the re-runs daily thru next Sunday). plays on Sundays @ 9:00pm eastern time

excellent cast staring Richard Armitage as Daniel Miller and Rhys Ifans as Hector DeJean, both CIA case officers and former partners at another station with Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost Berlin Station chief of station and Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch his deputy chief. German actress Mina Tander is WAY sexy as German intell agent Esther Krug while Ashley Judd as BB Yates, this seasons new chief of station, and Keke Palmer as April Lewis, a young black woman CIA case officer, join the cast this season.

first two episodes are about a German neo-nazi group trying to steal the upcoming German parliament elections and had pretty good suspense and action. I am a spy story NUT so naturally I LIKE this show and it's worth a look for fans of the genre. EPIX has emerged as a channel with outstanding new "self produced" series like this one, the crime comedy-drama Get Shorty, which just finished it's first season, and the political comedy Graves staring Nick Nolte

1st one I thought was pretty good really SHOULD be "the first SEASON I thought was pretty good"

i wanted to watch this.  but what the f*ck is epix and where do i find it?

EPIC is a Dish-TV premium "add on". checking the EPIX wiki page it looks like they may be THE only provider carrying them right now. just another reason why Direc-TV SUCKS for anything but sports

i have direct tv.  i might even have this channel.  directv is garbage but they do have the nfl network so i've had them for a while.

well Direc-TV IS much better than Dish-TV  for sports coverage esp their Center Ice package. on Dish-TV I do NOT get MSG broadcasts of the Rangers, Islanders, Devils or Sabres OR most Canadian sports channels NHL games in HD

went back to the EPIX wikipage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epix which is a convoluted MESS to find providers that carry their signal. from what I could make out, besides Dish-TV they are available on Verizon FiOS, Cox Cable, Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable and AT&T U-verse. also can be streamed on Netflix. it appears that Direc-TV is the ONLY major providor to NOT carry EPIX even though they ARE an AT&T company and "Ma Bell's U-verse DOES broadcast it. i my research I saw a LOT of social media complaints abut that from Direc-TV customers
