Great show

Great episode , had me at "welcome to the party boyos"

I was VERY suprised they killed off the character of  Buzzie Burke in the 2nd season 1st episode. thought he would be a long time villain. can't find the name of the actor that portrayed him. NASTY bugger

It seems like ex dective Francis Mcguire and former best friend of dective Kevin Corcoran, will play a role in the underworld of NYC.

funniest scene Episode 1. cops are beating the crap out of some guy they think is Burke. "That's NOT Buzzie Burke. That's Bug Eyed Doyle"

i love this tv series. There was also some nudity with Haverford... i liked that :D

FINALLY found the answer. it is Canadian actor Noah Danby who has played a bunch of "tough guy" rolls on TV.  ref >>> https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0199139/

Copper Season 2 Episode 1 "Home, Sweet Home". full episode on BBC America web site (30 seconds of ad leadin) >>>  https://www.bbcamerica.com/copper/videos/season-2-episode-1-home-sweet-home/

Episode 2 kind of back to "soap opera" wondering IF Morehouse is going to find out about Elizabeth's involvement with the spy Kennedy? wondering the motive of killing the young men of 5 Points? just a psycho or something deeper?

well the "mystery" of the young men of 5 points disappearing solved in episode 3. Robert Morehouse and Elizabeth marriage already "on the rocks" after he finds out about here involvement with Kennedy. keeps getting "curiouser and curiouser"

I liked the episode, still brewing the big showdown with the ex copper, who knifed another copper.

Just finished the BBC Sherlock series on Netflix and was looking for a new series, and had this show as one of the possibilities.  Guess I will give it a shot.

IF that is the one with Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes, I saw some of it on PBS in the US and it was EXCELLENT. Cumberbatch one of the best Holmes EVER after Basil Rathbone. keep hoping PBS will re-run the 1st 6 episodes of the series. supposed to be 3 new episodes released this winter

I am looking forward to the next 3 Sherlock's, as the first 6 were excellent.

Really like the character of General Donovan .. he is great

had some crazy "twists" so far season two with the Copper turned criminal Frances Maguire back on the police force and partnered with Corky again. definitely didn't see THAT coming after Maguire murdered that young policeman while with the Druids

killed off Corky's crazy wife Ellen via suicide in the last episode which is probably "good riddance" as she wasn't much of a character anyhow and opens up "pairing possibilities" with other women for him.

wondering WHO is the father of Eva's child is? Corky? General  Donovan? also haven't seen much of Annie Reilly lately.

Yes but we also found out that Maguire is now Donovans man, since he hold the murder charge over his head.

Great show. Looking forward to it each week.

trying to figure out WHO is trying to get Eva hanged and why. preview indicated someone trying to take over the whor house BUT wondering IF it also has to do with WHO the father of her child is?

Donovan declared he is the father of Eva's child to a young woman he then strangled to shut her up about a murder he had committed. looks like both Corky and Francis Maguire are going against Donovan esp since Maguire was in love with the woman witness he killed.

think a LOT of things "coming to a head" next week

General Donovan one of my favorite characters!
