So that americans did a remake of The Killing, and it failed because they messed with the plot when they tried to adapt it to the us market.

Now they are at it again with The Bridge. In the danish series, the main story is about a body who has been found on a bridge, put there by a truth terrorist (TT) , in the us remake it will have something to do with drug cartels.

Another fail! Link

Here is another example of a remake that will not work if it is being adapted into USA politics. Its to different compared to Denmark link

The Killing wasn't a failure in America though. It did pretty well. Once the case was solved at the end of season two there wasn't anywhere left to go with it. If you make a season three you are starting all over with a whole new plot. I liked it.

Well the US The Killing made the danish season 1 into two seasons and changed the killer.

There is a second season of the danish killing that has been aired, and the third and final season will air this fall.

mikael, i know you like the danish version much better but i liked the american version. it wasn't the wire, but it was a little different and not as stupid as the usual american police show that i can't watch for more than 5 minutes.

is there a way i can watch this new danish show?

Expose some truths about the society he lives in by comitting terrible acts that puts the spotlight on it.

Trailer for The Killing 2 Link (not season 2 of The Killing), this would be season 3 most likely, a new murder mystery, but same lead. Sara Lund.

Can be downloaded here torrent
