Kiera Knightley as Anna Karenina in the new film

On-screen love: Knightley's Anna falls for Count Vronsky, played by Aaron Johnson, much to the dismay of her husband Karenin in the latest film adaption of the classic novel

Becoming Karenina: Jacqueline Durran's costumes have transformed English rose Kiera into a Russian high society lady mixing fabulous gowns with all manner of fur: hats, capes and coats and stunning jewellery

IMDb

Of course they only mention Anna and Vronsky in the plot summary.  What about Levin and Kitty?  That is by far the better part of the book, and it gets ignored in movies.  Sad.
