After further revue-Who should have won Oscar last year?

I'm still thinking about this but Tommy Jones got screwed big time in my opinion.  They owe him one.    GL,    Doc

haven't seen Django Unchained yet so don't know how good Christoph Waltz was BUT Tommy Lee Jones as Congressman Thaddeus Stevens was excellent and worthy of the Best Supporting Actor Oscar. one of the BEST acted historic rolls I have EVER seen.

I originally though the film's producers got screwed that they didn't win Best Picture BUT after seeing Argo, I think the Academy did get that correct.

I will say one thing, ANY Director NOT named Ang Lee would have been a better choice for the Best Director Oscar. unreal that Argo director Ben Affleck didn't even get nominated yet he WINS the Golden Globe Best Director.  Steven Spielberg STILL has to be PISSED

Totally agree with you about Ang Lee. The special effects were great, amazing really, but not sure how the director gets credit for that. I'm thinking the vote was split and Lee won by carrying the generic vote because they liked the bright colors.    GL,   Doc
