A limewire find Wed 11-28

Well, I'm a huge Jimmy Page fan, Led Zep, etc. Robt Plant for the most part....

Always on the lookout for Jimmy Page collabarations and musicians that I like doing covers of other well known songs.....

Just downloaded off limewire Jimmy Page/Robt Plant doing a cover of  the Cure's 80s song Lullaby.

They made it completely un>>>>>>

Page is his always kick ass guitar playing self.

G8RB8,

how did you like it when I said the phrase "they un'afied" the original song by the Cure in that other thread?

Hey man, while we're on the topic, it's not a cover, but if you liked the No Quarter song, check out the Tool song "Pushit" (live).  It's on the same album (Salival).  They took a song they already did, and changed it up a bit live.   Great stuff.

They busted this forum up now. . . we have three seperate forums.  I don't get it.

I don't know either dude.

Thanks for the suggestion. Limewire ignite.

I'll fill my 80gb Ipod.

I have a 30 gb that I travel with. I can't imagine going throing the time consuming effort to get all my stuff back if I lost it due to theft whatever.

I guess it's all safe in my itunes library, but shit. I rarely download whole CDs. almost always one tune at a time.

Thanks for the reccomendation once again.

Found it and am downloading it in it's non-live version. Thanks.

No problem man, hope you like.

The rest of their stuff has the same up/down/buildup tempo, but I'd be afraid it wouldn't be to your taste since it's overall quite heavy compared to Zep.  Never know though.  Try out a few.  Sober, Stinkfist, 46&2, Lateralus (that one you'll like too I think), Vicarious, Jambi, are well known from them.  It's the best live band out there right now IMO.
