went to the movies a couple times this week. 1408 was very average. Its definately one to wait and rent. Mr. Brooks was pretty good. I would recommend it. Its different, but good.

Saw both movies as well. Costner movie surprised me, better than I anticipated. Entertained throughout, however the Demi Moore role/character is a joke, way over the top, she s like Clint Eastwood in panties.
1408 was good too, though a different ending. And i can say I wasnt sure how it was going to end.
Both worth their admission.

Did anyone understand the ending to 1408? Did he get out of the room? Or was his wife in it now? Orginally i assumed he made it out of the room but the more i think about it, I don't think so. How did the firefighters find him and police didn't. The whole even if you get out of room 1408 you can never leave it thing. Plus the thing about his daughter wanting them to all be together again. Also he had an evil smirk on his face when he played the tape recorder to his wife.
