Haven't posted in awhile and haven't made any plays either. My record etc is buried somewhere on this site. Been too busy with work and such if anyone cared lol. Anyways, just wondering on everyone's thoughts and the Yankees Padres game. Seems like a decent spot to back the Yankess and Cole on the mound? Feel free to discuss. Not sure if I will make a play or just watch.
Yankees plus money

You know what? The Yankees own the best road record in baseball at 44-30 and I wasn’t sure how they’ve accomplished that without Aaron Judge’s help for the last three months and counting.
So I looked into it, and it turns out the Yankees have been really good all year about beating the weak sisters in their own stadiums.
This included a season-opening sweep in San Francisco, an April sweep of the Red Sox when they were awful under Alex Cora, and sweeps in Kansas City, Cleveland, and Washington. Following the All-Star break, they also swept the sissy Orioles in Baltimore.
The Padres are considered underachievers this season because their high priced bats have been cold all season. But, they ARE a strong 42-29 at home. That’s not what I call a weak sister.
I’m not suggesting the Yankees are due to lose a road series, but are they really going to improve to 12-2-2 today at Petco Park? I’m betting that they won’t.
I’m on the Padres -112 and -115.

It feels like Fernando Tatis, Jr., Jake Cronenworth, and Manny Machado all somehow got wind of my remark about those high priced bats, and they decided to let me know I can go shove it.

I cannot believe that Adrian Morejon was allowed to continue pitching to batter after batter in the top of the 8th despite bad things happening as a result of each at-bat.
His fielding of a chopper near the 3rd base line in which he had no chance of throwing out Amed Rosario resulted in the standard wildly inaccurate throw that pitchers make towards 1st when rushed. The ball bounded down the right field line and allowed two runs to score.
Good stuff!
Then he got lucky when his catcher Luis Campusano threw out Rosario who tried to steal 2nd base.

Geez, the indomitable Mason Miller only had to deal with the 7-8-9 hitters in the top of the 9th. He struck out the first two, but then threw a terrible 3-2 pitch to Austin Wells that brought up the incredibly dangerous Ben Rice. Rice fought Miller to another full count before succumbing to a wicked curve that caught the outside corner.
Game over. Four solo shots proved to be just enough to knock off the Yankees.
