he had lasik eye surgery in august, maybe that phucked up his batting average which should be closer to .220.

well its halloween this month its good to be scary.  his last 6 starts since august 29th  have been scary good.  7 ip 0er, 7 ip 1er, 6.1 ip er 2 er, 7.1 ip 0 er, 7.1 ip 1er, 8 ip 0er and while he didnt face any great teams over that stretch that is still impressive.  for the year he has a 2.26 era at home and in his two starts against the dodgers this year hes gone 13.2 ip and given up 0 er.  win or lose the braves shouldnt be this big a home dog. kershaw s name and the public darlings are why its so high. the dodgers were just 9-15 their last 24 too. i know they were on cruise control to some extent but they were trying to get the best record for a while. and for the record i think the braves are overrated but i cant pass up +130.
