Happy mothers day to everyones Moms wifes grandmothers aunts sisters etc... there is nothing in this world like a mother. The unconditional love you only receive from a Dog 
no other human. My mother has been there for me through thick and thin no matter what happened in my life. She was a teacher for 27 years in the nyc public school system and taught in east new york Brooklyn. To make it through all that God bless her. If you are from nyc you know what i mean 
she is as good a person that exists on earth and i am so glad she's moving to new jersey to be closer to me this summer.
No mothers day for us today cause we are doing that wednesday as i am taking her to a broadway show to see bobby darin musical. But i did speak to her already.
Cherish all the mothers in your life and enjoy this day and time with them. Time and life is all we cant get back

Degrom starts have gone under 5-1 last 6 games. He is 1-1 with a 1.62 era at home and is coming off a 6 run allowed start at yankee stadium so i expect him to come back at home today vs a cubs team that doesnt have much experience hitting him. Texas is a league worst 71 wrc+at home as well as a paltry 597 ops. Taillon is not great but has held rangers to a 17 for 70 with a 679 ops and has allowed 10 runs his last 4 starts. I expect him to grind it out here and hold texas down somewhat. Texas is an under machine at home so under 8 is where i go here.
