You're right. I guess they should plug kotsay's .311 obp back in there because it doesn't matter because carlos quentin is a free swinger who either hits homeruns or strikeouts. So if Manny isn't going to hit a bunch of homeruns he serves no purpose because Quentin free swings. That makes sense I guess. Oh ya and Manny's .480 obp is the same as kotsay's .311 if free swinger Quentin was to connect for a homerun, right?
Oh ya, I forgot to mention that those free swinging white sox who only hit homeruns or strikeout have the best average in baseball since the break

And where has that best batting average in baseball taken them? Further n Further away from the Twins if Im not mistaken.

Dude, they just won 7 straight games. All on the road too. They can't help it if the Twins won't lose. Overall it has taken them to 15 games over .500 after being 9 games under. 500 and a better record than the West leading Rangers that everyone seems to be so in love with. They have a 53-29 record since June 9th. It's taken them to at least having a shot at the postseason entering September. Is that good enough?
