If hes a releiver he will nolu pitch 1-3 innings. That bullpen will do lots of work today. I dont like unders in those situations.

&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Birdsong has been a reliever the bulk of this season, however, last year he was a starter. His last outing was as a starter and was put into the starting rotation due to the ineffectiveness of Hicks. Birdsong&#x27;s last outing he pitched for 5.0 innings and threw 80 pitches. If he is as effective this outing as he was in his last he will probably throw 5.0 to 6.0 innings and be allowed to throw 90 pitches or so. In other words, the Giants bullpen will see moderate usage. No different than most MLB games since most starters don&#x27;t last more than 6 innings anymore
