the a's are a low scoring team, thus i think that extra run gets priced pretty low . . . i'm not going to read too much into, as if someone out there knows that a's will win by exactly one run . . . that person doesn't exist . . . i see value in the RL because of the poor mariners offense . . . certainly i've been proven wrong thus far tonight, but there is a long ways to go.
the price of the RL dif. to the ML is the market pricing the value of that extra oakland run, it's not someone trying to sucker me into a losing play. and in most cases, that is a fair price for that extra run, but imo, this mariners offense makes that price too low.
