The Oakland A's yesterday reminded me why I hate betting on this sport. And here I am back for more.
Might bet a couple more today, not sure. GL

Pitching change for the Rangers, bet voided.

Yeah, not nearly enough background on Latz. Nice era, but his whip and k/bb ratio are scary. BTW, F5 bets are always specified pitchers, no exceptions, so any wagers involving deGrom are already cancelled.

Will Warren to me had the best spring training I've seen in a minute. In his 3rd year in the bigs he may have finally figured out some things.
He's moved over his positioning on the rubber closer to the 3rd base side of the mound. It looks like his pitches are coming from a wider arm angle, and it's creating deception. His pitches are looking nasty.
The Giants are in no position to get right offensively against a dude like this today. Having to face Fried, Schlitter, and Warren b2b2b, you couldn't dread for a more diverse style of pitches thrown at you.
Tyler Mahle for the Giants is very mid. He could have himself a game from time to time, or he could get lit up. With either scenario, I don't think the Giants can muster themselves out of a very cold offensive start to the year.
Mahle had a year on paper for the Rangers last year, sporting a 2.18 era. Although FIP says he was a tad lucky with a 3.37.
New pitcher on a new club, with a new manager. Avoiding a sweep here will be tough.

If anyone is watching this Rays vs Cardinals game...
How they have no hits through 4 vs these garbage pitches is mind boggling.
Error, walk, 2 guys on with no outs. Pitcher is wild, can't find the zone, is behind 2-0 on the next 3 batters, pop up to 3rd in foul grounds, pop up to catcher, weak ground ball to 2nd base.
Remind me to never bet on this "analytics from hell" team again

I don't know what to tell you sac, except not to hold a grudge against anyone all season. They will all have their ups and downs and at some point the Rays will hit like a major league contender. BTW, I was thinking about telling you to give the doll a kiss for me; but then I thought "oh, hell no, I don't know where her lips have been!"
