The wind is blowing out on this already hitter friendly park, and gusts could get up to 30mph. I don't trust Cortes at all, and with the built in off day after Opening Day, I think both offenses relax and we get a high scoring affair.
Orioles/Blue Jays Over 8.5 -112
Back to the well with the bangers in both lineups against pitchers that don't scare anyone. Scherzers K/9 has dropped every season for the past 5 years, and he only pitched 43 innings last year. It's the end of the road for one of the greats, and a local favorite. Kremer doesn't induce a ton of ground balls, so the chances the boppers of the Jays get a couple over the wall is also likely.
Phillies/Nationals Over 9 -105
Nats hit lefties rather well last year, especially at home, and we know what Philly brings to the table, from top to bottom. I'll probably be on a lot of Philly overs when Wheeler isn't pitching.
Boston Red Sox -102
I think Walker Buehler has something to prove with his new squad. After coming back last year, and having the post season he had, he wants to show everyone it wasn't a fluke and he's back healthy.
Chicago Cubs +102
In Imanaga I trust. The guy has been great, and pitched well in his first outting in Japan. No reason the Cubbies bats can't get to Pfaadt. Just need Suarez to cool off for a night.
Good luck everyone!
