dwn -- Sorry man, I know your pain. Baseball is a brutal support. There is a tremendous amount of luck involved. In order to minimize this and end up on top at the end of the year, you really have to pick the right plays or the oddsmakers will get the best of you. Most people can't do this and that's why it's so tough. Hang in there, though. It's exactly these kind of 1-run games which was a big reason why I switched to all ML plays instead of RL. When I went back through my database, I make considerably more laying the juice because of all the 1 run games.
kingpin -- I have to respectfully disagree about the rigged thing. There was nothing or nobody who could have predicted or anticipated the insane collapse in the Cubs game. Sometimes, crazy things happen but the Cubs ML and even RL was the right play. There is no black and white with some games being too obvious or being to high a price or anything. Many -200 games have no value but some do. It's all about picking your spots and treating every game individually.

yeah bro-i would have hit 1500 off of 20 bucks and the white sox smashed me but i hit philly straight and a parlay with them so my day actually ended good-then i kill it again on the early games.the nightmare continues!

lanastasis, thx for the remarks. I don't know about rigged baseball games but it can be strange - I just think that on anything when the public is all over it, it isn't good.
But I knew a guy who was good friends with Jerry Buss and he said that Jerry Buss says they get the word sometimes that they have to throw a game. I have no idea how true that is but the guy who told me seemed pretty straight up.
