Gators4life assessment of MLBs division was horrendous and disturbingly wrong.

The NL West is the 2nd toughest division in baseball

first of all, i have no idea how this thread got so many posts.  it is just a regular season game and tim lincecum is on the mound at home vs. the orioles.  with the orioles getting a win last night, you would expect the giants to win today because they want to win the home series and they have their best pitcher on the mound.  the orioles offense doesn't stand a chance against lincecum, they are awful.  another easy win for tim lincecum, look for guthrie to pitch a bad game but that place is a pitcher's park should really help him.  take the runline.  if you have 280 lay it down for 100 or put SF in a ML parlay with another game, this is a strong play.

I don't like the under, I'm staying away from this total. Giants can score runs now, this is not the same paralyzed offense that we saw before.

It REALLY looked like a sure thing when they were playing the Nationals at home against Luis Atilano with Lincecum on the mound. Lincecum was lit up like a Christmas tree in that game. The Orioles offense can easily get to him. He is the wrong pitcher to risk your entire existence on.

Just a huge straight bet on the ML for me. I dont want to have to stress out at all today just in case its a close ballgame.

I think it was Tim Lincecum's birthday yesterday, so he might have a hangover from last night.  And with the early start, OVER could be a good play cause Timmy will still feel the after-effects of the tequila.  Plus, it's a day game, so the ball will fly out of the park easier.

The Nationals have about a .500 record, while the Orioles have the worst record in MLB.  Big difference.
