Ohtani is the most overrated baseball player in the history of the game

Seriously this guy just got spotted a 5-0 lead vs a minor league ball club at home and he literally gave it up in one inning. He is a choke artist when it’s a clutch situation and he’s at bat. I would literally take Paul O’Neill in his prime with the Yankees any day over Ohtani.

oakland hitting trending up. they're 7th ops in last 3 gms. combined with not taking them serious will do that for ya.

I've seen Geritt Cole get knocked around, Scherzer get knocked. Manoah. Every ace has been knocked. Degrom.

Just because you got money on the guy and he makes a mistake or has a bad outing doesn't make him bad. Don't risk an entire bankroll on an ace.

He’s 26 years old and in his prime he won’t get better. Who cares about stats when has this guy come thru in a clutch situation? 

For this guy to become the highest paid player in baseball history is ridiculous like Jalen Hurts being the highest paid in NFL history. I look at a great player who comes thru in the clutch.

 Angels are still going to win this game it looks like. It won't even show on Ohtani's record. 

The Angels are average team at best. Ohtani is doing something that people haven't seen since Babe Ruth. A pitcher that not only can hit but perhaps is your best hitter. Perhaps the best hitter in baseball. The dude could literally some day be the only guy to win the Cy Young, Silver Slugger, AL MVP and so on. Thats insane. He is worth every penny and frankly really really really wish he played for my team. I am shocked that the NYY haven't tried to do whatever it took to trade for this guy.

When do the A's sell their team? They're not putting effort into analytics like the Rays. They're just above the minor leagues and don't have any talent this year. Moneyball is over. 

They threw an average minor leaguer into the game last night. Medina. Poor guy. At least he has stories.

Some idiotic team is going to give him 10 years 500 million..when he's about to be 30 years old and has been injury prone...Angels should trade him..he is not worth 500 million at his age..yes for the next 2-3 years..definitely worth it...but when he is 35-36..Good luck and hope he ages well..

My advice is to bet against the A's every game unless they have their best pitcher in against a pitcher that is the other teams replacement for an injury. 

If you're in the majors you're a good player. A's have one of the worst managed organizations and they will probably be sold. Should we bet against the dumpster fire?
