Do you mind sharing? I’ve used sports bettingstats and odds shark. Now they’re both gone.
Free of charge like oddsshark! If you got one please share.
And covers please bring back the old oddsshark that most of us been using.

Appreciate you writing us. I think we all feel the same way on this. We all loved it EXACTLY how it was. The matchups for mlb and football. We can write details on it but I assume you have access to how it was prior? (Off pass yards vs def pass yards. Off rush yrs vs def rush yards plus all of the other offense vs defense for example for football and baseball and college basketball/nba the same) It showed pitcher details last 3 I believe. If you really need all of the details it showed, we can write you it all in details but we assume you all have it somewhere in the files. Please set this back exactly how it was for us, as the way ya'll have it now is just not even comparable. I emailed you the first day with this and also filled out the survey the first day. Thanks again.

We do have access to how it looked before. So you are all not left in the dark on what's to come, we hope to have an update for you all soon for what were working on. We'd like to keep the communication flowing on this even while changes are being made we'd still like to know what you think good or bad.

You make two columns for matchup game, one for Team A and one for Team B
Team A general info. anything that sticks out *** Team B general info. anything that sticks out
Head to head record Team A vs Team B *** Head to head record Team B vs Team A
Team A on the road record *** Team B at home record
Head to head on the road record *** Head to head at the home record
Team A Confrence record *** Team B Confrence record
Team A Division record *** Team B Division record
Team A Month record (Example May, June, July)***Team B Month record (Example May, June, July)
Team A Day of the week record (Example Fri, Sat)***Team B Day of the week record (Example Fri, Sat)
Team A as Fav/Dog (how it applies to this game)***Team B as Fav/Dog (how it applies to this game)
Team A Day of the week location of game, home or away***Team B Day of the week location of game, home or away
I hope this helps you Covers.

Can you please just put it how it was before since we all seem to want that, and if you decide to update it to the "newer" "cooler" so to speak, have a "new oddshark" update for peeps to click on if they so choose? I think you will see that peeps like the way it was better. Football it starting and there is not much time before peeps jump ship to new sites. Appreciate ya'll through all of these years.. God Bless ya'll

Thanks for your additional feedback on this, we should have an announcement soon on what is to come and we will share them here once available.
Hopefully we improve your experience with our first pass on these updates, and we will be looking for your continuous feedback until we get it right.

If Covers took over from Odds Shark, I don’t understand why the information can’t be presented exactly as it was before. The format already existed and worked perfectly. Why change something that users were already familiar with? If the goal is to “bridge the gap,” wouldn’t it make more sense to simply keep the original Odds Shark format?

@lopez021130
It is unlikely that we would be just copy and pasting the Odds Shark format directly onto Covers, as most of the information Odds Shark had is available already. The goal would be to add some of the missing items to pages that make sense, as well help direct users to areas that already exist.

Thank you for listening to everyone’s feedback. Since you’ve mentioned that the development team is working on bringing back the missing matchup trends, pitcher statistics, historical data, and other Odds Shark features, do you have an estimated date for when these updates will actually go live?
A lot of us are really looking forward to having the database and matchup information back, especially with the football season starting. Even an approximate timeline would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Sorry but this doesn't make any sense to not only me, but to many others as well. The prior matchups for football/baseball/basketball had so many great details on offense vs defense matchups and since you owned the rights to it, your new stats you list have not changed from your first attempt. It just looks like a whole bunch of nothing. Football has now started but nothing has changed. It's really not that complicated. I really appreciate your forum and that you all had the forum the last 27+yrs , but what you have shown on this with the former oddshark is SO disappointing and frustrating.

I had been using ODDS Shark for the last FIVE years and it was a HUGE plethora of information
1) Want to know how a baseball team has played over the last ten, twenty games? choose the team's name from the drop-down bar and viola, there is the last twenty games home or away, or overall if you choose that category from the drop-down bar, whatever number you needed, same thing. Use the drop-down bar ten or twenty you got it.
2) Same thing with the over/under for the same number of games.
I was devasted when I went to the website and was directed to Covers...why you might ask?
1) Every time some company buys/takes over another one they think they need to "reinvent the wheel" but in this case it was more a matter of "If it ain't broke DON'T fix it" and you did fix it. You took away access to INFORMATION that sports bettors NEED and USE. There is an old saying "He who controls the information, controls the game" so why take something away from the people you professed to help? It would have been so much BETTER if you would have just kept the website intact and put your name on it and promote yourself there
2) It's my hope and the hope of others in this forum, that we have the things we had readily access to, be returned to us in the future to utilize. Please also don't dumb it down to the last five games or give us drivel that helps the weekend warriors (casual bettors) there are MANY people here that take sports betting seriously and those are the ones that drive the car.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes from here.

Exactly this. I couldn't agree more.
What made the old Odds Shark so valuable wasn't just the amount of information, but how easy it was to access and compare it. You could quickly dig into a matchup from multiple angles without having to visit several different pages or piece the information together yourself.
The last 10, 20, or 30 games, home/away splits, over/under trends, head-to-head history, pitcher logs, and offense vs. defense matchups all gave serious handicappers the tools to do their own research and make informed decisions.
Please don't replace all of that with a simplified version designed mainly for casual bettors. There is nothing wrong with making the site easier for new users, but the deeper information should still be available for those of us who actually use it.
Covers has already acknowledged that the missing information exists and that the development team is aware of it. At this point, I think the best thing would be to bring back the depth of the old Odds Shark experience as much as possible, even if the presentation is updated.
Don't reinvent what already worked. Build on it.
