Naylor bounces weakly to 1st and the Mariners are now 1-10 with runners in scoring position.

Jose Ferrer comes on for the Mariners in the top of the 8th and quickly walks Elly de la Cruz and then compounds that sin by lazily throwing to 1st when de la Cruz was barely straying from the base. Ferrer’s awful throw went down the right field line and de la Cruz sped over to 3rd.

Hey, Ferrer got out of it after de la Cruz got thrown out at home and my parlay remains technically alive.

This has 4-3 Ms final written all over it

Julio Rodriguez, who got robbed of an RBI single by Elly de la Cruz in his last at-bat, didn’t get robbed this time as he crushed a pitch over the left field wall to begin the bottom of the 8th.
