I look at the line movement as a gift.  Now I get +105 or so instead of the -120 I thought I was going to lay.  I'm not worried about it.  Hopefully no one who followed me last night on Washington will pump up their bet today.  I think this play is worth about half the investment of last night's gem (due to the fact that last night we were stealing with +169 and tonight we're betting at about even odds).

You know what?  I don't think they should be -140.  I think given this situation, the Rays should be no lower than -150.  But, they're not, because the oddsmakers know that there's no need to offer Boston backers that much.  They'll draw more than enough Boston action with +125 or +130.

Question for you... regarding the sox/rays game.. i'm curious as to whether the over might be a smarter play in this one.  You have 2 teams that we know can put up runs and 2 of their most inconsistent/prone to get smashed pitchers in a climate controlled environment.. doesn't that scream over regardless of who may win??

Hey they could be -300 and win tonight.  I'm just saying Price should not be that big a chalk over Boston.  No way.  And one thing you know about the Sox, Longoria gets one in the back tonight.

What?  If they were -300 I'd have to bet on Boston.  If they were -180 I'd have to bet on Boston.  If they were -150 I might not bet at all.  At -135 I'm on the Rays and I'm adding some +155 runline action as well.

Had to use 2 sentences since so many  people on Covers don't like to hear Bator and Genious used in the same sentence

Bator what do u think i should do with this.. I have the Nats currently at +175, Reds +220 , Royals +140, Brewers +180? I have took note of this the past few days, my lines are being inflated for faves..

I went to Green Valley Ranch earlier this afternoon to bet the Rays -135.  My intention was to first parlay them to under 9.5 +110, but by the time I got there the under was even money, so I skipped it.
