For people looking at Reds/Mets game: Wilson Valdez is starting is CF. Hehas only appeared in CF twice in his career with two at bats at 6 games total in the OF with 7 at bats , so I am guessing these were late game double switches or injuries. An outfield defense of him Ludwick and Bruce sounds scary to me at Citi National Park.

Holy crap. I know that this is about MM and his insight on games, but can we do without all the BOL and hating on the haters? A 7 page thread before the fifth inning of game one is a little ridiculous. Lets talk baseball. Everyone put in your opinion of why you like a game or total, see what everyone else thinks and win some money.

Im saying that is what we need. More baseball talk, less "go get'em today pal" talk. Pretty sure day in and day out he is gonna do his best to handicap games. He doesn't need to extra kick in the rear. That being said I think I find value in the Pirates being dogs at Cleveland. McDonald has been pretty solid all year and hasn't given up more then 3 earned in his last 10 starts, and striking out atleast 7 in those same 10 starts. Masterson is average at best. Pirates coming off being swept, but their bats weren't to fault. They scored 13 runs in that 3 game series.

I like your point about them running out of their magic, but STL bullpen is just as scary as MIL. Motte throws a 99 mph fastball that doesn't move so if it gets timed, kiss it goodbye. Jason Kipnis figured it out and beat him a week ago. If we can score 5 tonight I think we win, but Furcal has the night off which means one more scrub in the lineup. Outside of Craig, Freese, Molina and Beltran, we have zero offense. Gonna stay away from the series as a whole. Kelly going tomorrow pitched well his first time out but who knows if that was adrenaline or what.

I like playing sides because I like having the opportunity to win if I misread how a game is going to playout. Totals are unforgiving,mthats why I am owning towards them and the big juice, might lay a run or parlay them, something else I do infrequently but I don't like laying over 150 either.

Just got done capping all my games and have never seen a total below 6 but my local has it at 5.5. Gonna take it just for pure value. Just blind luck could get the game to six. Also really like the over in the MIL/MIN game. Liriano is terrible and Gallardo has been below average. Both have solid middle of the orders so I see more then 8.5 as well.
