So you find a series where the dog is likely to be be the dog in EVERY game of the series.
Hypothetical:
game 1 you put a unit on the dog
You lose.
Move on to game 2. You put roughly 2 units on the dog.
You lose.
Game 3 you put 3 units.
This way if the dog wins any of the games you're profitable. Right?
But a lot of these series dogs do get swept, so in that instance you'd be down roughly 6 units. This happens infrequently enough to make this is a +EV system?

i would have rolled with the heat today. also would have bet the house on wisconsin where i also would have won getting 1 and a half at bovada. If you are taking dogs i definitly would get signed up with bovada because they are so scared of the favorites

Great system. I made a killing with Semperfi and McShady 2 years back with this. But without having the proper trend statistics it's much less successful. Hence, a game 3 chase loss is a lot of -units.
Attempting to put together a new trend sheet based on the excel document McShady shared years back.

BOOOM!!! YTD to avoid the sweep 7-1..the loss was actually a game 3 rain out w/ kc ,but either way i'll count it as a loss. Hope everyone has been able to follow the system and make a few bucks..POSITIVE VIBES=POSITIVE $$$..enjoy the rest of the day and see you guys tomorrow:)

That's fine! I'm just trying to understand the logic is all. Are we always trying to take out a unit per series? If we go to game 3 are we still trying to make that unit or just break even?

Always want to come out ahead regardless. That's why I try and jump on a juicey ML dog for the series to for the most part guarantee they will be dogs for every game. Today tTexas was slight fav, but I took it anyways. This is more $ management and discipline more than anything else. The idea is to win the first or second game and wait for the next series. Not that easy for most gamblers..LoL

This system doesn't make much sense to me especially the third game of the series, Astros for example last year went 6-17 for game 1 of a srs vs teams that made the playoffs(which they would be underdogs for) and are 4-19 after a lost and 1-11 gm 3 to prevent the sweep. I'm just saying why constrict all bets to the same series..I give kudos to the idea of continuing with increasing amount for underdogs, I tried it with favorites and it sorta gave me good fortune but was so scary to do cuz the amounts increased so quickly and after losing the second you would be down a lot and the third would be practically impossible to make up for the first two combined would be an exorbitant bet, but underdogs it might just work doing an increase for 4-5 consecutive bets and to literally go "all in" figuratively cause if you lose 5 straight your taking a trip to your bookie haha. But I submit you scratch the part of the system demanding all three games be in the same series and everyone instead submit their ideas of how to choose what they should be for example should they be all the same team for the first game of a series(does home/away matter or only gm 1 home)etc...any thoughts?

Well to use the 2013 Astros as an example is extreme, they lost 111 games. There's obviously a filter to this system and I'm quite sure betting a team as bad as last years Astros would be avoided.

It also feels good to hear other people speak on how hard it is to be patient when you have only yourself to rely on, it's a big mental hurdle and dividing up time to figure out what to bet could be much more manageable and prevent hasty poorly thought out picks. There can always be multiple continuation bets I think that may be the best course if action going on at the same time but starting low and increasing separately.

Well what's the filter then? Cuz the brewers just swept boston it's not like you can predict who and when a team is going to get swept any easier than picking three other bets and continuously raising them after a loss
