After Mariners pitchers followed three straight shutouts by allowing 19 runs in the first two games of the Yankees series, right-hander Bryan Woo (8-4, 2.77 ERA) will start for Seattle in the series finale.

Woo (8-4, 277) is 3-0 with an 0.72 ERA in his past four starts. He is 2-1 with a 2.82 ERA in four career starts against the Yankees. He allowed four hits in 6 1/3 scoreless innings during Seattle's 2-1, 11-inning home win on May 13. He took a no-decision.

New York's Marcus Stroman (1-1, 7.45 ERA) will make his third start since missing over two months with a knee injury.
