King of Covers leader

Genghis518 is +90 units and pulling away as it's gonna be another big day Friday. Basically been blindly betting all underdogs every day.

I noticed that earlier today.  Dogs are on a 22-10 run for +$$  ,  I almost followed his picks (1/2 unit ea.) but I decided to get crushed with Boston, Houston/Und, NYY, Bal/Und.

Geng  is +424 units , not bad at all..  They go with 5 units,  We certainly can't do those of course.

 Right, he's up 44,890 units divided by 500 to get what a $100 bettor would be up. That's $9,000. For example nobody at Wagertalk can say that.

 Same here, I just scramble live betting to just stay even or a little ahead.

What would he have done previous years? Is it really a good strategy?

Lost money.  Dogs got killed last year in all sports.  It’s normal this year now.

thanks for the thread   ....  and yes there are folks who bet all the dogs in a season....... {COMPUTER GUYS might help us with a look back}      to see how that went...  i remember when i had to go to vegas in the old days and a bud was doing bad that year... can't remember the year ... 1990's

I never noticed the King of Covers section until now. 

So if he only bets dogs that means dogs went 24-10 the last three days. Things after the All Star break are quite erratic. 

i play a lot of unders, especially 1st 5 under and team totals under and 1st 5 RL and it works out for me

Interesting he took Indians as a -225 favorite. Change in betting strategy or a mistake?

 I looked back 2 weeks and he picked 1 favorite. On 7/19 had Yankees -122. Unless he adds picks, odd that not he doesn't have a bunch of underdog picks

What we should also be watching is the top guy on the WNBA leader board. He is 38-9 against the spread, no money lines, the last 2 weeks.  

His name is Cheeser I have tailed him the last two days since i found him. He was 4-0 and 6-3. He has four plays today.

Whats the odds he hits near 60% the rest of the way? Gotta be a bit of regression. May still make money tailing but people missed out on the cash boat

 I agree it is unlikely he will stay on this tear, however I will point out he was on a 29-6 run when I jumped on board and he is 10-3 since Also he has made almost 300 wagers at nearly 60%. If this was the NFL it would be akin to a 3 or four season run at 60% and we would all be just admitting he may be sharp and have an edge.
