The Braves had their problems last year, injuries and so forth, but not with lefties, where they went 23-20, and they stack up as a lefty hitting team again this year. They got to Ragans quickly in their home opener, scoring 4 runs on 6 hits, including 3 dingers, in only 4 innings. Today we have a fly ball lefty (Lopez) versus a ground ball righty (Elder) and I don’t see that being to the A’s advantage.
I may have another later, but let’s see how this one goes.
I may also have to bump the thread since it is 2 A.M. in Arizona and the post is almost sure to get buried when the East Coast boys get their lazy arses out of bed. (That’s a joke East Coasters, don’t soil your diapers over it.)
