What's up guys? This one was a little tougher to handicap. Boston didn't become World Champs for nothing. I had to consider many factors. In the end, there are just too many things going on with the BoSox right now. I feel they are in disarray. You got guys who are whining about the schedule, you got your biggest guy in Ortiz complaining he's struggling big time and can't find his groove, you got Francona preoccupied about who gets assigned where with Timlin scheduled to be activated again and Beckett as well, then there's the travel fatigue, then there's Beckett's injury factor, he pitched well in his rehab assignment but Jays ain't a bunch of minor leaguers, not this year. But the biggest factor for me has got to be Doc. I mean this guy has a lot of unfinished business with the Red Sox. They completely humiliated him in 2007. He doesn't want to go 0-2 and this is his first time pitching at home. I've said this before and I'll keep saying this: With Doc, even if I lose my bet, I never feel bad. He really finds a way to win.

bobby,
With Doc pitching, the Jays are a slight favorite. Does it surprise you that the 5-inning line is even?
Is Tor's pen better, and they rate the starters even?

Hello and GL lady_luck, jordanroda, dewey, dixter, SG! ||thumbs_up.gif' border=0>
Hey dewey, yes I don't think any team (and bettors LOL) can be completely confident when playing Boston regardless of the situation. We can only hope that there are no surprises in this game. If there is none, Toronto takes this. ||Peace_5.gif' border=0>
Hey Dixter, the first-5 line is even, in my opinion anyway, because the squares are all over the fact that Halladay got smoked last season by the Red Sox and I mean just completely humiliated. I can honestly say that I have never seen Boston this vulnerable since they became World Champs in '04. It was in '04 right? LOL I have terrible memory now.
GL everybody!

Agree bobby - you gotta take Halladay at home at that price the way they're playin. Share your feelins about Eckstein as well - a pesky & tenacious little critter who's only gives a big upside for anyone. With ya on the Jays today||thumbs_up.gif' border=0>
