I think the Yankees are in for a disappointing West Coast road trip

Yankee's sweep tomorrow if they don't rest anyone.....Bullpen is fully rested and have not pitched since Sunday....I don't think they even need

their bullpen vs the Mariners...Will be the 2nd time and only team to not have used their bullpen in 3 straight games...

So J.A. Happ and Masahiro Tanaka both threw complete games against the Mariners?  So Yankees relief pitchers Luis Cessa, Cory Gearrin, Nestor Cortes, Jr., Tommy Kahnle, and Aroldis Chapman had absolutely nothing to do with Monday's and Tuesday's wins?  Are you prepared to lay your right hand upon this Bible and raise your left hand in the air before testifying to the veracity of your information, so help you God?

I think we have to chill out with these teams that have nothing to play for - Royals, Mariners, etc.

If we're going down, let's at least go down while putting up a fight. 

Bettings on these teams, you don't even have action after the 1st inning, games already over.

If I'm going to lose, at least give me a few innings worth of action so I can get my fuckin' moneys worth lol.

Yes.  I said I would back them in all three games and I'm not backing down now especially when all logical people are jumping ship (and I don't blame them for that).

Huge motivational edge, why?  It's not like Paxton didn't want to be traded so he could play for a contender.  The Mariners had to trade him or risk losing him in free agency (which they surely would have). He should be thankful to them for where they sent him.  If Paxton has motivation today simply because he's pitching against his former team for the first time, won't Justus Sheffield have that motivation, too?  This guy was a blue chip prospect in the Yankees farm system for two years and no doubt daydreaming of being a Yankees hero for a long time.  Now he's a Mariner.  I dunno, but I'd be mad if I was him.

I never realized how much team psychology plays into making a wager, this thread has been enlightening in that regard.

They had won four series in a row. It's not like they came in on some terrible slide.
