All Star break is here.  May have to try women’s basketball this week for some action.  Right now I have been studying up on the home run derby and only one name keeps coming up to win it:

Jazz!!!!

Smallest person to win was 220lbs . Just tossing that out there.. Ill be rooting for you. 

I was liking Chisholm also, but I keep seeing post like this :

  " Chisholm Jr. can hit the ball over 400 feet, which he’s done many times this season. That said, he’s only 5' 11? and 184 pounds and will have to swing with maximum effort 30 to 40 times in the span of three minutes. He’s dealt with oblique, groin and shoulder issues this season. In addition, he’s working with a “70 percent” mindset since returning from the injured list — meaning not over-swinging or playing out of control — so he likely won’t be pushing himself Monday night.  "

I'm leaning now Buxton, or Wood

Made a bet on Jazz.. Wish I could take it back now. Not because of size but because his dad is pitching to him. That never works out. That combined with size makes me regret. Most of my money is on Buxton.. GL

Harper won with his dad pitching. Threw him cutters. 

I’ll be rooting for him. Jazz is my 2nd highest payout. Can’t cash it out. Harper is another animal though. That was also in front of his home crowd with him knowing that he was going to be leaving in free agency. He was dead set on winning it.

MY have to reconsider Jazz, I know he is small, but it’s the way you swing the bat that makes the ball travel.  The other guy that is standing out is:

OLSON 

This is my top 4 choices:

Olson +950:  like the idea he is at his home field and he is from Atlanta.  Seems to carry a little weight.  Plus I like his swing.

Wood: +370:  Like his power and has a great swing of the bay.  

Chisholm +1500:  seems to me he can knock it out at will!  Like the price on him also. 

Buxton +850:  really thought he would be at +500 at the max?  He definitely can set sail of the ball.  


I have not pulled the trigger yet, but if I had to make a decision right now these two will be the deciding factor:

I kinda like James Wood longest Hit ball +350

I also like Olson OVER 18.5 1ST round.  

I’m on Chisholm, Caminero, Olson, Buxton. 2.5x return on total investment if one of the first 3 hit. 5x is Buxton hits. GL.

I figured he wouldn't do to well,  but just 3 HR's, wow, that just blows me away
