Go on a 1-12 stretch and still lead their division by 7 games? Of course it's the tigers. Can the guardians, twins, or royals catch them? It will be interesting to see what moves the tigers make before the trade deadline as there should be a sense of urgency right now .

1995 Angels had an 11.5 game lead and ended the season 12-27 and lost a 1 game playoff
Redsox had a nine game lead in the WC race and lost 20 games in September to miss playoffs.
But most of these seem to happen at the very end of the season. Who knows Tigers may slightly get back on track and start another choke streak in the end.

Tigers last year were dead in the water. Not sure how many games they were out of being a wild card but it was alot. They came all the way back to get in the playoffs beating the Astros in the first round before bowing out to the Guardians ( Indians)
No idea what the heck is going on right now with them. They just completely dropped the ball. They might be sellers now instead of buyers at the deadline if they dont get their heads out of there asses......

They changed their pitching last year and were a bullpen team. Starters were in short and it was a bullpen game except Scooby for the most part. They pretty much dominated everyone holding them doewn with pitching. They were doing what TB did a few years ago.
