 his presense alone makes a difference, remember how dodgers scored 3 runs last night? it was because they decided to intentional walk shohei.  It's not difficult to have bad stats on paper when they pitch around you and dont let you beat them.

You can only slow down the goat for so long, what happen on that 4/4, 5 walks night, and the 3/3 home run and 10K night? oh yeah it was because they decided to not pitch around shohei thinking hes struggling.

Im a die hard SF Giants fan and believe me when I say ive been accused of being a homer by pretty much the entire world.

If I say Ohtani is the best MLB player and its not Bonds, thats really saying something.

But the only reason is because he can pitch dominantly as well. Bonds was a better hitter, fielder and base stealer. If Ohtani is not the GOAT, its BONDS.
