That was before Freddie Freeman got scratched. Under seems to be the play that makes the most sense. Watch Blake Snell be Blake Snell and watch the Dodgers make Jackson Kent look like Blake Snell.

Even feel better about the chances. That lineup blows without Ohtani, Freeman.
Ignore the bubble gum cards on the others.

I enjoyed watching Blake Snell be Blake Snell in the top of the 1st as he whiffed two Nats. I am on this game under 8 -105 and I risked an even larger amount on a parlay with under 8 -105 and the Padres +105. I do not expect to win that parlay because it was placed with a sportsbook that has been getting lucky against me ALL YEAR.

Blake continues to be Blake. And a tip of the cap to Dodgers catcher Will Smith for gunning down Nasim Nunez at 3rd after Nunez had already swiped 2nd without a throw. Nunez actually over slid the 3rd base bag and Max Muncy tagged him out before he could scramble back.

Guys! anytime you look at past history with the Dodgers +250 or larger line. they don’t win it’s a given. somebody look it up I’ve noticed this for the past several years now., anyway, just a word of thought.,

My arch nemesis Mookie Betts singled in the game’s first run and then scored on the crushed 2-run double by the next batter Teoscar Hernandez. The drive by Hernandez looked identical to his game-winning 2-run double in the bottom of the 9th last night.
But then Blake went out for the top of the 4th and was Blake.

Blake let the first two batters in the top of the 6th get hits, but then Blake remained Blake and got the next three guys. His 100th pitch of the night was his final one.

Geez, Kyle Hurt should have enjoyed a quick 1-2-3 inning in the top of the 8th, but Max Muncy booted the third out and a ground rule double followed. Dave Roberts had to go to the pen to bring in Tanner Scott to face the dangerous C.J. Abrams.
Abrams skied one to deep left that looked like it might be gone, but Tommy Edman ran it down in front of the wall to end the inning.
Phew!

Dumbass Dave Roberts brought in a fat slob named Seth Halversen thinking he could record the last three outs. Instead, all three batters lashed hits and all three eventually scored after Dumbass Dave went to the mound to remove Halversen and summon a real pitcher.
I can’t believe this. The Nationals’ chances of scoring three times in the top of the 9th were probably less than one half of one percent.
