This is exactly why I have the upmost respect for teams like the Rays. So patient at the plate unlike these fucking morons.
A pinch hitter decides to go for the game winning HR and strikes on 3 pitches. It's just baffling to see some of these teams bat. The only way these fuckers get a hit is if the pitcher on the mound accidentally throws one down the middle in early counts.

wow cabrera is a douche. if he walked to 1st they wouldve had 1st and 3rd 2 outs with prince up. Any1 see a replay did he stumble or just jog whole way? ive never seen the shortstop jump over a guy land wait a few secs then throw to 1st for dp. tigers gonna be at home with other overpriced teams like laa and bos

It's funny, people lose a wager on a team and all of a sudden its F THIS GUY AND F THIS CITY AND F THIS TEAM. You all have seen Miggy's stats, right? You do know he is coming off of an ankle injury, right?
I'm not sticking up for their poor play by any means, but Miguel Cabrera is top 3 for MVP this year. If anyone deserves to be cut some slack, it's that guy.

Saw the replay on ESPN, he was jogging the first part until he saw the SS have trouble w/ the ball and then he started sprinting and was out by 1/2 a step. If he was hustling all along, he woulda been safe by a mile, but we'll never know if Fielder would've tied/won it or not. So just thank Cabrera for being one to play hard every play...NOT!
Overpaid pigs like him who don't hustle every play and who hit worthless homers are all azzclowns in my book!

Not blaming the entire shit on the guy, but I disagree. Just like the replay showed, he started running hard after seeing the SS struggle with the ball. So don't give me this ankle injury bullshit.
The guy is born to be a baseball player. He's great at it. His attitude isn't at times though. Somebody like Derek Jeter would have ran hard in that play regardless of the SS bobbling the ball. I understand we are talking about two different type of players, but under that specific circumstance, every player should be running hard. That's exactly why I don't think he deserves to be the MVP. Mike Trout deserves it far more Miggy in my honest opnion. The guy plays hard every single day.
Another thing, the manager is probably going to say stupid shit like "we had lots of guys on bases, just couldn't bring them home. Just couldn't come up with that one hit. blah blah blah." Bullshit. The wrong approach at bat most times explains why you aren't bringing the runners home. They had runners on bases with no outs or 1 out so many times. They swung at pitches when they shouldn't have. Playing the hero ball. Trying to be the black mamba of baseball when they clearly don't have the talent to do so. Just mindboggling. These guys do not deserve to play baseball in October. It will be a sorry ass sight if they somehow make it.
