Never a hijack, bro. I love the collaboration. It’s definitely a little bit of a dicey card today. I had a couple meetings this morning, so I’m taking a full look at everything right now. I’m kind of eyeing the Rays, and I’m definitely going to dive deeper into that St. Louis spot

@LVTruck
Do your thing buddy. I had a lean on the Rays too. Bieber showed his Cy Young form last time out and I don’t have a lot of faith in Seymour, who should get a min of 3-4 innings. That’s what took me off, but still plenty of things to like about it. ![]()

The pitching change in Tampa has definitely given me pause. Casey Legumina is not going to give them much length, so this now looks like a bullpen-style game. I am taking another quick look because it is a little discouraging

The switch to Casey Legumina and a bullpen game is not necessarily a disaster. It just changes the handicap because we lose the predictable length from Seymour and now have to trust the bullpen strategyfor nine innings.
the bullpen itself has been ok lately. The bigger issue is how many arms are available

FYI guys, my understanding is the Rays are using an opener due to 1st inning matchups and then Seymour should get the bulk of the next 3-5 innings, depending on form. Am I wrong on this?

The late pitching change initially gave me some pause, but the strategy makes sense. Toronto has eight right-handed hitters in the lineup, so Tampa will use right-hander Casey Legumina to navigate the top of the order before turning it over to Ian Seymour for the bulk innings.
The Rays used this same combination on June 25, when Legumina opened with 1 1/3 perfect innings and Seymour followed with 6 2/3 no-hit innings

I still like Tampa, but I am not going to be involved financially. With the late pitching change, I just was not able to dig into it as much as I wanted, and I am not going to force a play.
It is a short card today, and there is a very good chance I will have action before the day is over. It just will not be this game

LV the strongest play I see on the board is the under in Tigers/KC . Under 8.5. Melton probably won’t give KC a single run today. Witt is out and KC already has trouble scoring, especially on the road. Melton is 12 - 2 to the under as a fav. These other two games are coin flips in my opinion. Gl to us all..
