Milwaukee is not suspiciously cheap. It’s a respect number on Mize plus home field. IMO

I'd target Boston like a sniper. 

Tailon is a trainwreck. The only thing he has going for him is that he's from Canada. Maybe he feels more at home as a Blue Jay?

 Simply put, Sonny Gray vs Jameison Tailon is the biggest pitching mismatch on the board today.

I didn't look at much anything else.

Maybe a pitching mismatch in Boston but Toronto did tag Sonny pretty good couple weeks go. 10 hits 5 er and earlier in the year 6 hits 3 er. 2 of his worst Outings against the blue jays. Interesting 

Toronto looked okay in Philly but they have a gas can in there today and Boston has been the top run producing team ever since they turned things around . Sonny got rocked by Toronto earlier but I think he shows up tonight with a target on TO. Love seeing the king LV leaning on red sex

Sonny Gray gives Boston the clear starting pitching edge over Jameson Taillon, and the lineup came out the way I wanted. Yoshida is in, Abreu is in, Contreras is in the middle, and Boston has enough left handed pressure to make Taillon work….

Milwaukee Brewers ML

Milwaukee is on the short card because the price is still reasonable for a team with the better overall profile. Logan Henderson has been extremely steady, Milwaukee is 8-0 in his last eight starts, and he’s allowed two earned runs or fewer in 9 of 10 starts. The Brewers also have the stronger offense overall, and the market has quietly moved in their direction from around a pick’em toward -115/-120. Casey Mize has been good this year, so this isn’t a fade of San Diego as much as it is backing the better team at a playable number….

Tampa Bay Rays F5 -0.5

Tampa makes the short card because the first five price gives us a much better way to attack the matchup Lopez has pitched better lately, but his command profile is still vulnerable, and Tampa is one of the better contact and patience teams in baseball. The Rays should have opportunities to create traffic and score early. The main concern is Freddy Peralta’s inconsistency

I haven’t decided what I want to do with the Cardinals yet

With three games already on the short card, I can start to stress test everything, and see which play gives the path of least resistance
