All right, here’s where I’m at.

The Dodgers and Nationals are both on my short card. I’m definitely not chasing, but if we hit the White Sox, I may jump back in.

Those are the only two teams left on my short card.

First things first, though. We need the White Sox like fucking oxygen…

Early, wish list 

 

Martin pounding the zone and getting through the first inning around 15 pitches or fewer.

 

Bieber struggling to locate, falling behind hitters and needing 18 to 22 pitches in the first inning.

 

Chicago making him work, laying off the slider out of the zone and producing hard contact, even if they do not score immediately.

 

The ideal start is Martin with a clean first and Chicago putting traffic on Bieber right away. A 1-0 lead would be great, but even 0-0 is fine if Bieber already looks uncomfortable and his pitch count is climbing.

The reason I’m not on the White Sox first five is Bieber could have a decent start and keep it tight for a while. I just thought there was more value in the full game, but sure as fuck, I hope Chicago is already winning after five.

Usually I follow but have a bad feeling about the White Sox today. They should be a bigger favorite. Jays bats may wake up today

92nd percentile in Chase%
8.9% walk rate

They are making consistent contact, controlling the strike zone and forcing pitchers to earn every out. That is a very encouraging profile heading into today’s matchup with Shane Bieber.

 

 

I mean, I’m still working on the game I don’t know what’s gonna happen. All I know is I did the  work.
