Here’s where I’m at on the Washington game. I’ve been looking at it pretty hard, and while I do like the first five angle, the weather is the part that gives me pause. It’s Africahot out there, and in that kind of shit, one ball that’s caught on the warning track can end up on top of the beer truck.
I’m still digging into it because Keller is definitely gettable, but I’m also trying to figure out if this could be a spot where Griffin shows a little regression

The surface number is already not great: 4.00 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, but the advanced stuff says it could be even worse. His Savant xERA is 4.83, and FanGraphs has him at 4.65 FIP / 4.64 xFIP. That is not a guy I’m scared to fade
The biggest issue is command. His walk rate is 11.9%, which is high, and that matters against Tampa because the Rays are not just swinging at everything right now. If he gives free traffic, Tampa can turn one mistake into a crooked inning.
