AA said no more than a week ago they arent going to rush him up. Believe what you want but I dont see him with the big club until mid july

No, none of them have the average+power and OPS that Lawrie does. Las Vegas is a great park for homers but that doesnt explain his league leading hit totals or total base totals. The has also been taking walks like a machine lately.

agreed. Snider needs to show more consistancy. That being said I think this kid is the real deal. Hes shown flashes of what he can do, as he was the hottest hitter on the team last year before his injury.

AA also said that they asked him to improve his plate disclipline a few weeks ago and hes done a excellant job in this the past 15 games. He said that Lawrie right now is really playing well and forcing there hand. I will be utterly shocked if he isnt up within the next ten 10. They continue to talk about him and put up stat lines on the broadcasts. Trust me, this kid is getting called up VERY soon.
jays won't call him up now because they don't want him in the super cateorgy FA. If they wait after a few more weeks (the date is sketchy), they can avoid arbitration for another year on the kid.
