There is no doubt that the large American companies like Coca Cola...Delta...Nike etc etc etc absolutely reap the profits off the backs of slave labor in China and many other countries to raise their corporate profits and stock prices. It has been going on for decades.

They do not care about human rights...voting rights...animal rights or any rights for that matter. They only care about one thing...negative publicity. So...if the Twitter mob...which represents roughly less than 25 percent of the country...comes after them...they react immediately without facts of any kind because they are all about profit and stock price. They would sell out their own families for higher profits.

We are living in a moment in history where facts don't matter. Its no longer report the story right...its report the story first with or without the facts. A perfect example was that just days before Delta denounced the GA voting law they were publicly discussing how they were involved with making the law better. How can they say they made the law better and then denounce it?? Peer pressure nothing else.

Sports leagues and sports figures should stay out of politics. Until I see these players welcoming homeless or immigrants into their " walled off mansions " and providing for the greater good I don't want to hear it. It's so easy to say something when the consequences absolutely do not affect you because of your rich...elite status.

The bottom line is that an interesting article came out today that says sports viewership is decreasing in one-third of Americans polled and increasing in only 10 percent. Why is this?? It can't be because we have better things to do as we are told to stay in our houses and do nothing. The reason is that people see the hypocricy in these sports and are growing tired of it.

We are on a slippery slope towards the end of freedom as we know it. This country offers more opportunity and freedoms than any other country has in the history of mankind and yet all we hear is how horrible it is.

So MLB moved the all star game because Georgia made a law to have people show identification for mail in voting? I’m confused what is so bad about that. Is there something else I’m missing?

Unfortunately baseball's leadership is failing baseball.I do not agree with this new voting change in Georgia. I do my speaking at the polls.It sickens me how baseball tries to collide  politics with baseball. Whatever side of the fence you are on about this law should have NOTHING to do with baseball.

Fenway is limited to 12% capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. About 4,500 fans were allowed to be in the stands Friday.

You are 110 percent right Robarbs. We have to deal with the political sh1t in everything we see or do. Sports should be left for enjoyment and entertainment. Think of how much this cost the local businesses and people like vendors who would have been able to make a lot of money off the All Star Game.

So now Trump thinks if he tells the people that voted for him to stay away from baseball they will, Geo.voting laws need to be dealt with by the people in Geo.,vote them out of office though I do find it strange that Geo. elected officals putting the new voting laws in after the State lost for GOP with Trump help not working.

I understand the race thing with Sports and if all the Players said they would not play there that makes more sense that the guys that run baseball to make the decision for everyone, we need people to unite against States that put in laws the People do not want, I do not know the new laws but am sure they did not have time to ask the players what they thought. We know Dems.had nothing to do with laws and the GOP are putting them in so Trump yelling that Dems.are behind baseball decision is just going to make this all about our side there side.What % of seats can they sell, everything is an issue now.
